Standing on Top of the World for a Little While

“Doubly happy, however, is the man to whom lofty mountain tops are within reach.”   ~John Muir

A couple times of year we head on over to the other side of the state.  We normally kind of do the same thing everytime, so this time, we changed it up.  I’ve been coming to this side of the state for over 10 years and never have really gotten out and explored, it was time to make a change to that.  And I have a whole list of things I need to see and do over the next few trips.

This time we climbed Roundtop Mountain. I didn’t take all that long. About a half hour up and a half hour back…. and since Thermopolis isn’t windy, you can actually stay on the top for a little while and relax and enjoy the view. The spectacular view of the country. One side overlooks the town. The other… the land and the red rock. It was pretty amazing.
