Homemade Bailey’s

In the wintertime I drink hot drinks before bedtime, instead of a glass of wine. Not everyday, but often. I like to wind my way into sleep with a book and a drink. Most often it’s tea with a little limoncello in it.

But I found something new, though I won’t be drinking this until after lent, as it falls into the category of things I gave up, which come to find out,  was a really broad spectrum this year.

I used to drink these often in college, as I cold back then too. I found bartenders to be irritated when I asked them to put on a pot of coffee for me… however in Ireland, it was all I drank to stay warm from the freezing cold rains. And it was no problem getting coffee there.

This is BY FAR the best recipe for this I have ever tasted.  I don’t know when I will by another bottle of Bailey’s again (and I am pretty partial to Bailey’s) I used expresso, so we have little dots in ours. The glasses are Bodum, which if haven’t heard of them, they are awesomely fantastic as well.  They keep things hot and cold, and won’t ever burn your hands. Awesome I say.  (Really, the only reason I bought them is because the picture was cool….but they turned out to be amazing glassware.)
