Sorry, been MIA for a bit, the paint brush has called me once again.
The first time I made these they were a side to our meal, however our meal was shrimp and I made the sauce a little thinner and we just dipped our shrimp in the sauce too. It was pretty much heaven. Not the healthiest part of heaven and I had to work double time at the gym the next day, but they were TOTALLy worth it. Totally. (and my little dino man ate it like it was going out of style, he loved it.) I made them again for a wine tasting party this past weekend and the sauce was much thicker. They went over well. Obviously I didn’t make them look like fries. I’m too lazy for that, I just cut them into wedges. For the original recipe you can go here to Pinch of Yum. I didn’t follow it exactly. I never do. But it was an awesome place to get started. The smokey cheese i used was amazing. This would be a great little appetizer for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
