It’s been frigid cold here out west. Below zero for several days and expected to continue for a bit. But it’s one of those times where it feels OK to be below zero, because the wind isn’t blowing. And the sun is shining. It’s a strange thing to have the sun shining whilst your nose gets stuck together every time you inhale. I ventured out yesterday afternoon to grab some shots of just how beautiful it is, and I came across some deer that I’ve been watching all fall. Especially the big one. My husband didn’t think he existed, but he does now. (He’s such an elusive creature. I want to give him a name, but I haven’t thought of an appropriate one yet.)
The snow makes it feel like Christmas. Like the Christmas’s I knew when I was little, at least in my head I always imagine a foot of snow.
Before the storm started, we had the most beautiful sunrise. I try to watch them most every day. This one was worth a photo.
Since we watched it last night, with a very special little girl (who did a great job by the way) and because it’s my favorite from the ballet.
