I’ve waited for this door for over a year now, ever since the idea entered my brain for it to live here.
We have a hallway downstairs, which two adjacent doors slam into one another when opened. So, of course I’ve seen barn doors going up in houses all over the place and I decided that would be perfect in that area. I had a bit of a different idea of what I wanted, my contractor had his, and now we have a beautiful hand crafted door. I adore it and it fits perfectly in the area. You can’t really tell in the picture but it’s shiny and gorgeous.
What’s even more exciting?!! What’s behind that door is 99% done. Dino dude’s study area and room. I will be sooooo excited to show you, but not just yet! We say it’s our last big in-home renovation for this big old new house. I have a feeling we are full of it.
