So I went to the home improvement store yesterday. Needing shelving. I’m always looking for something different and out of the norm. Because that’s just how I am. So I went over the plumbing section to see if I could find something to serve as brackets.
An hour later, I walked out of the store with parts to build a lamp.
Yeah, that’s me too. So many projects. So little time. So many distractions in the plumbing department. I can’t help that my mind wanders at the speed of light. I have never really spent that much time in that area, but I can tell you, I have the basic jyst of it now.
I have a desk en route. A glass one. Simple. For the brick room and it needed a lamp, so this is what is going to live on it for the time being. It cost me about $12 as I had the cord already. And the most expensive part about it was the Edison bulb. I love Edison bulbs.
Sometimes I don’t want the kind of thing everyone else has. I have a need to be different.
It’s industrial and weird.
And it’s totally perfect.
