Something that I love about Wyoming, it doesn’t matter which direction I drive, it doesn’t take much time to find a spot away from the crowds. Sometimes the spot belongs to a friend of a friend, but if you live in Wyoming long enough, you soon find out that the state is one big town. Everyone comes around full circle at some point.
Well… we found the greatest spot a couple Fridays ago. And we treated just like a Friday night. No pressure. Something simple. Relaxed. They were there to fish and explore and wind down from a week and enjoy one of the last evenings of summer. When I was done shooting I went straight to my hammock, so I had the same idea.
Like most of my clients… she’s getting soooooo big. And her hair, it’s pretty amazing (she was bald as a baby for a really really long time!) But what is more amazing. She’s starting kindergarten. She talks a mile a minute. Doesn’t mind finding weirdness in grass and water. And… she picked me a bouquet of wildflowers, that I still have. (It’s the little things.) She learned all the names of the flowers she was picking too (her mom and dad are experts.)
I hope she had an awesome first couple weeks of school.
I hope it stays warm enough to find some quiet here and there.
I’m not done summering yet.
