I was hired several years ago to take photos for a family by one of their siblings. A person I never met. A person who was just doing something lovely for her family.
A few weeks before I shot them I went to a PTO meeting at my son’s new school. And the teacher representative walked up to me and said “are you Stacey?….I just hired you to photograph my family!”
And that was the start of our friendship.
She has become a vey dear friend of mine. One which I can always count on for positive thought or words. One who cares about children so very much and loves mine.
And I met her by happenstance. You have to love that.
I finally convinced her that she needed photos with her mom and her sisters.
Presence in pictures in important. Even as an adult. No matter what you think of how you look or feel about yourself. Others will want to look back on them. And need them.
Great pics, can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you
What I wouldn’t give for photos like this of my sisters and my mom and I! These brought me to tears! Thank you!
That is exactly why I encourage everyone to take photos….no matter the age. Good to hear from you Dorothy! I hope you are well!
