In Wyoming, winter lasts approximately 6 months.
But….the excitement of the winter and the snow wears off around December 26th.
People are less than excited to get out in waist deep snow for family photos.
But then there are some who are MORE than willing to get out there. MORE than willing to shoot in the middle hard falling snow. They bring hand warmers and hot chocolate and it turns out AMAZING!
It was freezing. Like 6 degrees. And it was gorgeous! There was some frozen tears here and there, but I call it a victory when the littlest one proclaims “I WANT TO TAKE MORE PICTURES!!!!!!”
(Hint to people wanting snow pictures for Christmas photos…. take them in the beginning of the year, when the snow is deep, and fun to play in and we can take our time! Scheduling is much easier this time of year as well!)
