Mississippi Chicken in a Tortilla

There’s been a recipe floating around the internet for a while now.

Mississippi Chicken.

It’s pretty amazing. And REALLLLLY easy to make. AND REALLLLLLY good.  Seriously.

Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner and I’ll be missing it this year (meaning I won’t be cooking for the masses)

But if you are cooking. If you need something REALLY easy. THIS is it.  The original recipe for this awesome chicken, is to be put on a bun as a slider. I’m not a slider girl. But I am a tortilla, wrap it up with cheese and olives and salsa and sour cream type of girl  (don’t get me wrong, sliders are awesome too…)

This is 4 ingredients people.

In a crock pot.

You literally have to do next to nothing.

Are you ready?

Chicken (3 lbs give or take some) Frozen or otherwise.

1 packet of ranch dressing.

1 packet of Au Jus.

Half a jar of banana peppers. And the juice.  (I used the hot ones)

Throw it all in there.

Cook a few hours.

and it basically shreds itself.

Throw it in a tortilla. Homemade or otherwise. With olives and sour cream and salsa. Call it a day. IT AMAZING.

Seriously .

(Also, because my actual household is small, I half this recipe. Use 5 chicken breasts. It is gone before I can serve myself…. that’s how good it is.)
