When we have people here, I try to have different things for everyone, aside from the regular relish tray.
We eat a lot of fruit here. As soon as pomegrantes come into season, we have them at least once a week. So I tried to put something together that would look and taste fall-ish. (I still consider it to be fall here, until Thanksgiving, despite the efforts of the world around me.)
This did the trick. It looks perfect. It’s not too sweet. It’s just right.
