Favorite Things: Christmas Card Picture Day

I don’t torture my family all that often for pictures, but normally the days I do…. the weather is freezing, the wind is blowing, and I will decide to take along two dogs and a sled. And none of us will have a coat.  It will 7  be degrees.

And normally the conversation will go something like this….

Dino dude: Mom I’m not going to make it. The cold might kill me. (after he baracaded through 10 snow drifts the second he got out of the car)

Husband: I’m pretty much soaked. Does the dog have to sit on me?

Me: (While running with the other wet dog back and forth and back and forth from the tripod) Both of you sit still and smile and look like this is amazing and fun. When you can do that you are free to go. Until then we will be in misery togther.

An hour later and two different locations. I got one picture. Mind you I only took 6. But it took and hour to do that.
