We had one more short stop before heading to our next destination.
Sea World.
I have never seen the dino dude soooo happy and sooooo upset in such a short period of time…..at a theme park. I have never been to Sea World either, so we were both having our first experience with all the marine life and all the water rides and all the awesomeness it offers. He was sooooo excited about the rides that he couldn’t talk. The was laughing soooo hard, there was no noise coming out. He was sooooo exicited to ride again, he completely lost his brain. It was so fun to watch.
And then we went to watch Shamu.
That damn whale is a sneaky one I tell you.
We sat one row behind the splash zone. Completely aware that we were going to get wet. I put my water cover over my camera bag. I was safe. That’s cool. The whole show was great. A little splashing here and there. Were were totally safe. So I unzip my camera bag and
BAAAANG, out of nowhere (WE DID NOT SEE HIM COMING!!!!)
My son, his uncle and myself were hit with a title wave. For the first time. And then BANG, BANG,BANG, BANG, BANG we were hit with 50 more. I was trying to recover and start breathing again and my son was screaming and crying and trying to crawl back into the seats behind us to get away from the hurricane that had just hit us.
and two feet away from me…my husband was completely dry.
Stinking Whale. We did not get a Shamu souvenir for my son… he was too mad at him.
So, for the rest of our time in the park… we did safe things, which did not get us wet.
