Leaving the Lonestar State

We spent our last evening at the Corpus Christi Bay and the next morning across the bridge to Portland by the Lexington. We were staying with our cousin, who is a doctor in the area and her husband a teacher and coach, so we had awesome tour guides (thanks guys!!!) and we also had nitty gritty stories about all the crazy people in Corpus.  We ate on the boat and next to the water.  It was so beautiful and so relaxing and the sea food was amazing.

We of course found all kinds of sea life, jelly fish and hermit crabs with all kinds of babies in them. Pretty awesome.

And then we bid our goodbyes and headed back to San Antonio to catch a flight.  A smoothe flight.

My only regret of the whole visit….I didn’t get to see an armadillo.

Next time.

Thanks for the memories Texas! We sure had a good time!

Song: Luckenbach Texas, Waylon Jennings (I know I didn’t go there, but it’s my favorite)

  • Beautiful shots Stacey! I enjoyed reading about your holiday. The photos are spectacular as usual. Sounds like there were a lot of great experiences for Parker. 🙂
