MOM, MOM!!!! THE MOMENT HAS COME!!! THE MOMENT HAS COME!!!!!
That’s what my six year old was yelling at me this afternoon.
HURRY! COME FAST!!!
Sometimes he talks like a college literary professor.
He has since he started talking.
And hence I rushed to where he was at….
and then he did this!
His tooth has been loose for almost 6 weeks now. He’s a late bloomer when it comes to teeth. He’s the last of the kids to lose one. (they also came in very late as well) He has not wanted us to pull it out. There have been tears over it. Things must be done on his own accord. (Sounds like someone else I know.) And it one thing that I’ve learned about my son….he will get things done, just maybe not at the time or the way I want them. And I’ve learned that’s just really OK.
I yelled and cheered and cryed all at the same time.
5 hours later, he’s still beaming over it.
“I could burst right now mom….I just hope I get a coin or so from the tooth fairy!!!”
These are the things that fill my heart every. single. day.
How lucky am I?
