The Card, Oh the Card….

I’m a letter writer. I always have been. I seem to be able to communicate so much better through writing than I do through talking.  I started moving away from people I loved at a very early age. So I started sending Christmas cards, with photos, at a very very early age. 8 or 9. Not much older than my son is right now.

I think that’s why I like this place so much. It’s a place where I get to write to everyone all at the same time.

I’m not a Christmas letter writer anymore, but I still care enough to put a picture with a little hand written note and a signature in the mail every year. And lets face it… I think it’s fun to make the photos!

We borrowed “Woody” from my favorite red headed twins and their mother. She has an obsession for older vehicles, just like I do and VW’s.  It worked out perfectly! I had to run really really really fast to get from the camera to the car and shut the door and hold the dog out the window. (I really need to get a wireless release at some point in time!!)

It’s very “us.”

Though I wished there were just a little bit of snow.

I can’t believe I just typed I wished there were snow. What’s wrong with me? It’s Christmas!!!

Song: Elvis, I’ll Be Home for Christmas (I have a soft spot for Elvis at Christmas, I can’t help it!)
