Seaweed is Green Too….

10 years ago I wouldn’t have touched sushi or sushi rolls with a ten foot poll. I would have turned my nose up at it and said something to the effect of “you must think I’m a special sort of crazy if you think I’m going to eat raw fish.”

And now.

It’s part of my weekly diet.

Can’t get enough of it.

Would eat it every day if I could.

For my birthday, a friend of mine surprised me and we learned how to make sushi rolls. It was awesome! And the first batch we made… well, they weren’t that pretty. But they tasted fantastic.

I’ve been practicing since then. Every couple of weeks.  But the main reason I like to make it.

The spicy sauce. There’s no tuna in it. I don’t know why it’s called that, because it’s just plain spicy yummy sauce that I can eat with a spoon if there’s no sushi to put it on.

And the dino dude…..loves sushi. Loves it. He won’t eat chocolate, but he’ll eat raw fish. Gotta love that crazy boy.
