Makin’ and Bakin’

I’ve been cooking and baking for about 5 weeks straight now. I’ve made some pretty awesome tasting stuff which I haven’t really shared here very much.  I saved a couple of the below so I could eat them later. I actually didn’t even get to try them when I fed them to people (sorry people, I hope you liked them!!) This is a copy cat recipe, which tastes remarkably just like the cranberry bliss bars at Starbucks. Even though I pretty much only go there for the coffee. I found the recipe here.

And now that I have the Dino Dude home for a little bit, I’ve been keeping us busy. He brought home an assignment for the break, asking him about his traditions and cultures. So the other day we made Polish Stars (because, he’s a wee bit polish.) We used 10 circles for these and just threaded them through the middle.

We also got our Santa Cookies made. We weren’t able to gather with our normal baking buddies this year, so we just made these quick (we cut the recipe in half) and I just piped them with royal frosting.
