No Labor Labor Day

Labor day normally means the end of summer is here. School is in. Fall is in the air. Football is on (which I am normally ignoring, but went to the Wyoming opening just to say I participated a little this year.)

The Dino Dude and I headed to the moutons for an evening of fun with one of my very best friends, and her whole family, which over the years, I’ve gotten close to as well (Thanks again for the bed and letting us crash for the night guys.) It was a wonderful way to wind down for the night and you can’t really beat a steak that was cooked over the fire.  Amazing. And s’mores. You can’t really beat s’mores either.

The next morning we headed over the hill to Saratoga for a dip in the pools and some bubble gum ice cream (there are very few places anymore that sell it, so we always take advantage when we can!)  It was busy being a holiday so we didn’t spend a ton of time there. We slowly made our way back over the mountain, stopping to let the little one fish a couple times. A perfect day, just meandering. I love to meander.

We also take this week to take our annual mother son photo…..he’s getting so tall. Soon I’ll be leaning on his shoulder!
